I’m a Lebanese-American journalist and musician based in New York. In 2016 I joined The New York Times as a news assistant. Prior to that, I worked with Monocle magazine in New York and The Christian Science Monitor in Boston. I cut my teeth on digital media at Transterra Media, a news media marketplace in Beirut, and NeoPromo, a publishing house in Dubai.
I have a master’s degree from Columbia Journalism School and a bachelor’s degree in sociology, a diploma in media studies and a minor in music from the American University of Beirut.
